REFLECTION
I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to take this module, as it has been an invaluable learning experience. Not only did it help me improve my writing skills and enhance my proficiency in English, but it also provided me with a deeper understanding of my research topic. Through thorough research and analysis, I delved into the impact of emotional design on mobile platforms, with a particular focus on Apple iPhone users. Gathering user experiences and feedback allowed me to gain valuable insights and a more comprehensive perspective on how emotional design shapes user behavior, satisfaction, and perception.
This module also helped me develop a strong foundation in academic writing, especially in crafting a well-structured dissertation. I learned the importance of properly organizing ideas, supporting arguments with evidence and presenting findings in a cohesive manner. Additionally, I gained a deeper understanding of citation and referencing styles, such as APA, which are critical for maintaining academic integrity. Compiling a detailed reference list and ensuring accurate citations helped me appreciate the importance of crediting sources and building a credible body of research.
In addition, I acquired significant knowledge about visual design for publication. I learned that effective publication design requires balancing creativity with simplicity, avoiding overly elaborate or distracting elements. This balance ensures that readers can engage with the content without being overwhelmed by the design. The process of designing a publication also gave me a greater appreciation for the role of visual aesthetics in enhancing readability and engagement.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all my lecturers for their invaluable feedback and guidance throughout this module. Their advice and constructive comments were instrumental in helping me refine my works throughout this module. This support not only enabled me to complete the module successfully but also inspired me to push myself to achieve higher standards in my academic and creative pursuits.
