Final Task - Completed Experience
OUTLINE
INSTRUCTIONS
Module Information Booklet
Students will synthesise the knowledge gained in tasks 1, 2 and 3
for application in task 4. Students will create and integrate visual
assets and refine the prototype into a complete working and functional
product experience.
In this Final Project, we then continued working on the
remaining sections that had yet to be completed, which
included:
-
Summary Panel
-
History Page
-
Card Combination feature
Summary Panel
We added a Summary Panel that appears when users complete
the AR Scene. This panel records the player’s activity, such
as the nature elements they explored, the tasks they
completed, and the time they spent, and gently encourages
them to continue exploring or try other scenes.
We also added a History Page that records the user’s recent
explorations. It includes a task progress indicator that visually
tracks their completion status. Once all tasks are completed, the
progress will show as fully completed, giving users a sense of
achievement and motivation to explore further.
Lastly, we implemented a card combination feature to make the AR
experience more engaging. Same as our previous workflow
distribution, Huey Yee was in charge of importing the new image
targets, while Yi Xun positioned the 3D models into the AR scene.
When users scan and combine two specific cards, a hidden scenery,
the Jungle, is unlocked. This feature adds a layer of
interactivity and surprise, encouraging users to experiment with
different card pairings and deepening the sense of exploration
within the experience.

FEEDBACK
BACK TO OUTLINE
Week 14
During the final week, we presented our WanderBloom AR project
to our lecturer, Mr. Razif. Although we had not fully completed
the project and still had one small section left, we showed him
our progress so far. He reviewed our work and commented that we
had done a fairly good job. He also reminded us to complete all
the remaining functions needed for the app.
REFLECTION
BACK TO OUTLINE
Working on WanderBloom AR was a hands-on journey that
pushed us to explore the process of building an interactive
experience from the ground up. One of the biggest takeaways
was learning how to bring together different tools like
Unity, Vuforia, and 3D assets to create something functional
and meaningful. While figuring out how to make image target
recognition work properly, we faced a lot of trial and
error, but through that, we learned how important testing
and iteration are in AR development. It wasn’t just about
placing 3D objects, it was about designing an experience
that feels natural and immersive to the user.
Another key part of our learning was understanding how to
balance design and functionality. We had to think from the
user’s point of view, what they would see, hear, and feel in
the AR scene. Adding features like the sound toggle, quest
tracking, and card combinations taught us how small touches
can make the experience more engaging. It also helped us
grow as a team, learning to divide tasks clearly and
communicate ideas better. Overall, WanderBloom AR wasn’t
just about completing a project, it taught us how to think
critically as designers and developers, and how to create
something that people can interact with in a playful and
thoughtful way.
